Pre-Market Bias

August 11 — NQ No Clear Draw, A+ Only

The daily bullish FVGs are still being respected — the HTF structure that carried last week is intact. But even while respecting the daily FVG, I can see us trading back toward it. From here, price action can play out three different ways, and none of them is obvious enough to call the draw before the open. So today has no forced lean: we watch how delivery looks after the open, and the only trade that gets taken is an A+ setup. Posted before the open, judged after.

NQ 1D — Daily — Bullish FVGs Being Respected

The structure that got us here is still doing its job: the daily bullish FVGs are being respected, with the small daily gap just under price holding and the deeper Daily BISI sitting below as the bigger array. Overhead, the EQH / BSL near 30,050 is still the buyside resting above — and the SMT line with ES is drawn across those highs. The HTF isn't broken. What's missing today isn't structure — it's a clear, obvious draw to trade toward.

NQ 1H — 1H — Three Ways It Can Play, No Obvious Draw

Here's the honest read: even though we're respecting a daily bullish FVG, I can see price trading back toward it. Price is sitting just above the midnight open with the 1H bullish FVG below, the PDL / Daily BISI under that, and the BSL → PDH → EQH stack overhead. From here PA can play out three different ways — pop into the buyside then reject, deliver straight lower into the gap, or hold the FVG and expand up. When every path is live, there's no clear draw — so there's no lean to force. We'll see how it looks after the open; only an A+ setup gets taken.

The One Thing To Respect

A day with no clear draw is a day with no obligation to trade. The framework starts with a draw on liquidity — that's the whole first question of Liquidity Hunting. When three paths are all live, picking one before the open isn't a bias, it's a guess. So the plan is the discipline: let the open show its hand, and if delivery lines up into an A+ setup, take it. If it never comes, standing aside is the trade — same as last Monday, and that one paid the rest of the week.
