September 28 — NQ Nothing Clear, Stay Clear.

The Daily is very, very bullish — but on the 4H we're sitting inside a very strong Bearish FVG. Getting long in there means hoping it inverses. Yes, you can probably find a trade that wins today, but nothing is clear and nothing is a lightbulb. This is a day I'd more than likely stay clear of NQ.

1DDaily — Very, Very Bullish1 / 3
NQ 1D — Daily — Very, Very Bullish

On the Daily there's nothing to argue with. We have a Daily RB, and a Daily Bullish FVG down below, with the Equal Highs still resting above. So the low does NOT have to be taken out before we see the highs. On this timeframe alone, I'm bullish.

4H4H — Inside A Very Strong Bearish FVG2 / 3
NQ 4H — 4H — Inside A Very Strong Bearish FVG

This is the problem. Price is sitting inside a very strong 4H Bearish FVG. That's a very, very dangerous area to get long, even with the Daily being bullish. To take a long from in here you'd have to hope and pray that we inverse it — and hoping is not a model.

1H1H — The Long Was Down There, Not Up Here3 / 3
NQ 1H — 1H — The Long Was Down There, Not Up Here

Price ran the London low into the Daily RB and delivered back up through the 12am open and the PDL, straight into the 4H SIBI. If I had wanted to be in a long, I'd have wanted to be in from the London low — not chasing it up here. The PDH is the obvious draw above, but right now price is sitting in the bearish gap with no clean entry either way.

The One Thing To Respect

A trade that might win is not the same as a trade that's clear. On a day like today you can almost always find something that works — but if the Daily says up and the 4H says there's a strong bearish gap right on top of you, any long from here is a hope, not a setup.

The good long was from the London low into the Daily RB. That's already gone. Chasing it inside a 4H SIBI is paying for a seat that was free an hour ago. When nothing is a lightbulb, standing aside is the trade.
