Reversal · Day 12 Of The 30-Day Reset
August 18 — Right Again, Still Not Paid.
The conditional bias delivered exactly what it promised — a clean reversal higher out of the lower zone. So I engaged, and I was right to: three trades, all valid longs, all in the direction the market actually went. The result was one loss and two breakevens. The first was an A-grade CISD long that got a quick stop — almost exactly like yesterday. The two after it both trailed to breakeven before the move continued without them. No entry I'd take back. The read was right for the second day running. It just hasn't turned into a paid day yet.

The Session — The Reversal Came, The Trades Didn't Convert
MNQ 1m · A-grade CISD longs off the lower zone — direction right, one quick stop and two trails to breakeven
The morning narrative said higher prices were possible if the delivery was clean — and it was. Price reversed cleanly out of the lower zone with CISDs and SMT against ES, exactly the shape I was waiting for. Trade one was an A-grade CISD long that got stopped quick — the same fast stop that got me yesterday. The next two were also valid longs; both trailed to breakeven and then watched the continuation go without them.
Two Days, Same Signature
The read is dialled in. The conversion isn't — yet.
Yesterday: A+ reversal, resweep, quick stop right before the run. Today: right bias again, valid entries again, and a quick stop plus two trails to breakeven right before the continuation. Nothing about the entries was wrong — I'd take all of them again. But when two sessions in a row produce a correct read that the exits keep giving back, the honest read is that the edge right now is leaking on the back end, not the front.
That's not a reason to change the setups — they're working. It's a reason to look hard at where the stop and the trail sit. Getting stopped a few ticks before a move that then delivers, twice in two days, is the market telling me something specific about how much room the trade needs. That's the study for tonight.

The Plan I Wrote
Posted Before The Open
Higher prices possible, but only if clean — chop and stand aside. It delivered clean, so engaging was right. The condition worked; the exits didn't follow through.
Read The Narrative →Why Post A Flat Day
A day where the read is right and the exits keep it flat is where most edges quietly leak — and where the actual work is. So it gets posted like the wins. No hype, just process.
