Reversal Model · Day 11 Of The 30-Day Reset
August 17 — A+ Setup, Stopped Before The Move.
The trade that mattered fit the bias to the letter. The narrative said bullish toward the PMH, with the unmitigated NWOG below as a launchpad. Price dipped into that NWOG exactly as called, swept the lows, respected the gap, and printed a CISD off bullish SMT with ES — a clean A+ reversal. I took it. Then the low got re-swept, my stop went, and price turned and delivered ~120 points up to the EQH without me. Right read, right setup, right direction — stopped a few ticks too early.

The Trade — The Bias Delivered, The Stop Didn't Survive It
MNQ 1m · dip into the NWOG, Turtle Soup off the SSL, CISD + bullish SMT — then a resweep of the low before the run to the EQH
The setup was as clean as they come: price delivered down into the unmitigated NWOG the bias flagged this morning, swept the SSL (Turtle Soup) and respected the gap, then printed a bullish CISD with SMT against ES. That is a Reversal-model A+, and it was aligned with a bullish read on every higher timeframe. There was nothing to second-guess about taking it.
What Actually Stopped Me
The first CISD got re-swept before the real one.
Look closely and there are two CISDs — a shallower one, and a deeper one below it. I entered off the first. Before the reversal actually delivered, price came back down and re-swept that low, took my stop, and *then* turned from the deeper level and ran to the EQH. That deeper CISD was the valid one.
This is the resweep— the exact refinement in the CISD material: if the low that made your CISD gets taken again before the move plays out, the valid entry was off the final, deepest sweep. A tighter version of me waits for that second sweep, or sets the stop below it. That's the one adjustment on the table — everything else about this trade was right.

The Good Kind Of Loss
Two weeks of context makes this one land differently. Aug 13 I called a move and let a condition keep me out. Aug 14 I faded my own bias and tilted. Today I followed the bias exactly, took the A+ setup it produced, managed it by the rules— and lost. That is the version of a red day you can be proud of, because the decision was right and only the market's wick was wrong.

The Plan I Wrote
Posted Before The Open
Bullish toward the PMH, with the unmitigated NWOG as a launchpad — dip in, then deliver up. The dip came, the reversal came, and the trade came. Only the stop didn't make it.
Read The Narrative →Why Post A Losing A+
Because a perfect read that loses is the most honest thing in trading, and it's the part nobody shows. The setup was right. The market took the low twice. Both are true. No hype, just process.
