Discipline Break · Day 10 Of The 30-Day Reset
August 14 — I Faded My Own Bias.
No spin on this one. I wrote a bullish narrative this morning with the draw above and posted it before the open. Then I shorted into a market that was bouncing off four or five bullish HTF FVGs — the exact thing my own read said not to do. It stopped out. Then I FOMO'd into the long at the topand scratched it at breakeven. Two trades, both bad. Probably the worst trade I've taken in a while. I locked the account and ended the stream early.

MNQ 1m · the short against the bullish arrays, then the FOMO long into the highs
The thing that makes trade one an F isn't that it lost. It's that I already knew. Price was reacting bullishly off four or five higher-timeframe gaps, my narrative had the draw above, and I shorted it anyway — because I let outside influence get me into a trade instead of my own read. Then the stop-out did what stop-outs do to a tilted head: I chased the move I should have been in from the start, at the worst possible price, and got out flat.
What Actually Went Wrong
My mind shifted to wanting money now.
That's the honest diagnosis and it's in my own words. Not a bad read — I had the read. Not a bad model — the model was fine. I stopped waiting for reasons and started wanting an outcome, and everything after that decision was downstream of it.
There's a second thing worth naming: this was my first day trading after four straight sessions of standing aside.Four days of doing the right thing and getting paid nothing for it. I'm not going to pretend that had no bearing on why I was suddenly in a hurry.

The Part That Held
Two bad trades is not a good day. But look at where it stopped. On July 31 this exact sequence ran to four trades and a 155-point round trip. On August 5 I pressed a stop-out into three more on the side account. Today it stopped at two, because I recognised the tilt while I was in it and closed the platform.
Recognised the tilt in real time
Hit the 2-trade limit and stopped there
Locked the account instead of pressing
Ended the stream rather than trading through it
Second trade scratched at BE, not held in hope
Posting it publicly, same as the wins

The Plan I Wrote
Posted Before The Open
Bullish. Draw is the LRL above, target the all-time highs. I posted that, then took a short. The bias isn't what failed today.
Read The Narrative →Why Post This One
Because every trader has this day and almost nobody shows it. If I only post the clean ones, the record is a highlight reel and it teaches you nothing. No hype, just process.
