Discipline · Day 29 Of The 30-Day Reset
September 11 — One And Done, By The Book.
This morning I posted a bias that said, in plain words, I'm unsure. Wedged between two HTF PDAs, hard to short on the weekly, no clean draw. Then the market handed me a textbook Expansion → Retracement into the OTE, with an FVG sitting inside the zone. I shorted it, it delivered roughly 90 points into the 1H sellside, and the last runner trailed out at breakeven. One setup, one entry, done — after the week I just had, that's the version I needed.

The Trade — ER Into A Measured OTE
MNQ 1m (with NQ 15m + ES 1m) · the retracement, the zone, and the delivery
The sequence is the model, start to finish. Price expanded, then retraced — and I measured the retracement rather than eyeballing it, which puts the 0.62–0.79 OTE exactly where you can see it on the chart. Inside that zone sat an FVG, with SMT against ES and the LH CISD confirming the shift. That's the entry — not the zone by itself, but the array inside the zone. From there it delivered down into the 1H sellside, about 90 points of travel. The last runner trailed out at breakeven on the bounce back up, which cost nothing because the front half was already banked.
The Lesson
The model doesn't care how you feel about the day.
This is the part worth keeping. I woke up unsure — and I said so publicly before the open rather than manufacturing a conviction I didn't have. An unsure bias doesn't mean don't trade. It means don't force a direction. You wait, and if the model produces a defined entry, you take it — because the criteria are the criteria whether or not you feel certain.
Line that up against yesterday and the whole week makes sense. Yesterday I had no read and let the feeling of missing a move drive three entries into the wrong draw. Today I had no conviction and let the model drive one entry into the right one. Same uncertainty, opposite process, opposite result. That's the difference between trading a feeling and trading a system — and it's the thing this whole 30-day reset was built to teach me. Day 29, and I'll take that as the answer.

Why Post Every Day
Wins, breakevens, and the days I sit on my hands all get posted. The record only means something if it's complete. No hype, just process.
