September 14 — NQ A Hard Area To Get Short
Price is currently looking bearish — and that's exactly the trap. Underneath us sit so many bullish PDAs (the Daily BISI, the 9/11–9/14 NWOG, the 7/31–8/03 NWOG) that this is a really hard area to get short. On the weekly we're inside the same Bullish FVG, sitting near the low of it — support right beneath price, not far away. So the path I want is a resweep of the lows first, then higher prices. Looking bearish and being shortable are two different things.

Inside the Weekly Bullish FVG, near its LOW — support sits right under price

Looks bearish, but Daily BISI + two NWOGs below make it a hard area to short

Resweep the lows into the Daily BISI first, then seek higher prices

Higher — but only after the sweep clears the sellside

Don't short into stacked support. Don't buy before the sweep. Wait for both
1WWeekly — Inside The Bullish FVG, Near Its Low1 / 3

Same weekly array we've been working inside for weeks, and location matters here: we're near the LOW of that Weekly Bullish FVG, not the middle of it. Being down at the bottom of a bullish weekly gap is a very different proposition than being at the top of one — it means the support that matters is right underneath us rather than far away. Below that sits the Weekly BISI Low and, deeper still, the Monthly BISI. So the higher timeframe has layers of bullish structure stacked under price, and that shapes everything on the lower timeframes today.
1DDaily — Looks Bearish, But It's A Hard Area To Short2 / 3

Here's the tension, stated plainly: price is currently looking bearish, but there are so many bullish PDAs down below that this is a really hard area to get short. Under us we've got the Daily BISI, the 9/11–9/14 NWOG we just came out of, and the 7/31–8/03 NWOG beneath that. Selling here means selling into layer after layer of support with the higher timeframe working against you. Looking bearish and being shortable are two different things, and today is a clean example of the gap between them.
1H1H — Resweep The Lows, Then Seek Higher3 / 3

The path I want to see: a resweep of the lows first — down into that Daily BISI to grab the sellside — and then price turning to seek higher prices. That sequence matters in that order. The sweep is what clears the resting orders and gives price a reason to reverse; without it, a long is just hope with extra steps. So I'm not looking to short into the support below, and I'm not looking to buy before the sweep either. I want the lows taken, then the shift, then engagement.
The One Thing To Respect
There are two ways to get this day wrong, and they point in opposite directions. The first is the obvious one: price looks bearish, so you sell it — straight into the Daily BISI, two NWOGs, and the low of a Weekly Bullish FVG. That's selling into layers of support with the higher timeframe against you, and it's exactly the kind of "looks right, is wrong" trade that costs money.
The second is subtler: getting impatient with the long. The bullish structure below is real, but the sweep has to happen first. A resweep is what clears the resting orders and gives price an actual reason to turn — buying before it is just hope with extra steps. So the sequence is the rule: lows taken → shift → engage. No sweep, no trade. And the daily limit stands where it always does: two trades or −2R, whichever comes first.
